Acalia is home to a wide variety of events and classes open to the public either by reservation or invitation.  Each event is held at our gorgeous Queen Anne location, either inside beneath our glass atrium ceilings, and/or outside on our private patio.  Here are the events we've currently got scheduled:

Cooking Classes with the Chef

If you've ever wondered what it takes to be a professional chef or caterer, let our professionals share their years of experience with you (and teach you a few of their insider's tricks) in a variety of classes at Acalia. 

Chef Shelby was originally trained at London's famed Le Cordon Bleu cooking school, after which she spent seven years traveling, cooking, and teaching her way through 33 countries.  Chef Sarah was trained at the Art Institute of Seattle, and has worked by Shelby's side ever since.
